Access the equipment and facilities you need while studying on campus. Find information on borrowing loan laptops, using student computer labs, and printing, copying or scanning with PrintIX at Juniper House and Central House.
LOAN LAPTOPS
- Loan laptops are available from the locker near the Southsea Room on the 1st Floor of Juniper House.
- They are for use during the day and must be returned on the same day.
- Loan laptops must not be taken home or outside the building.
- Reconnect the USB-C cable inside the locker and follow the displayed instructions.
- Make sure the laptop is registered as returned before leaving
- The locker uses a colour-coded status system: green means the laptop is available and ready to use, red means it is currently in use, and purple means it is unavailable, for example while being updated, repaired or prepared for use.
COMPUTER LABS
- Student computers are available in the Guildhall Room at Juniper House and the Solent Room at Central House.
- Save important work to OneDrive.
PRINTING WITH TUNGSTEN PRINTIX
- Printing is available on-site at Juniper House. Use PrintIX for London campus printing and follow the instructions displayed near the printer.
- To print from your own device, open the PrintIX web portal and choose "Sign in with Microsoft", using your University email address.
- You can then upload documents and print from your browser or install the PrintIX app on your device.
- You can also print, copy and scan from the University devices on campus using the PrintIX app.
